At Twin Peaks Ranch you can enjoy the widest variety of western activities found in the Northern Rockies. From riding to wrangling to rafting, you can experience it all. Come break trail over the Continental Divide where Lewis and Clark came over on their way to map the Northwest Territories. Herd cattle through the open range of our working ranches 2,900 acres. Raft the rated Salmon River, or as many know it, the “River of No Return.” Or just relax in our heated swimming pool. Fishing, target shooting, arena riding, overnight trips, evening entertainment and much more await you as well.
Accommodations: The cozy original cabins are separate one and two bedroom units with three-quarter baths. All units have covered porches with comfortable chairs. The newer, more spacious deluxe cabins are comprised of three side-by-side units. They are available individually or together to provide connecting accommodations for up to six. The two end units have whirlpool tubs.
Activities: Our horseback rides take you past the old abandoned Twin Peaks mine on your way to a breakfast cookout as well as other beautiful terrain. Our alpine lake fish camp at Williams Lake Lodge offers the avid angler numerous opportunities to hook the Rainbow of their dreams. Everyone enjoys the exciting ride through the rated rapids of the Salmon River in a whitewater raft!
Dining: Meals are served buffet style featuring a full fare of hearty western cuisine. In addition, an array of freshly baked goodies is always out at the lodge to treat you. Special dietary requirements are accommodated as much as possible. Breakfast may include eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, blueberry pancakes, Belgian waffles, pan omelets, a full fruit and pastry bar, plus all the traditional breakfast items.
Location: Located 18 miles south of Salmon and 40 miles north of Challis, the ranch is two miles up a cottonwood filled canyon just off scenic Highway 93.

Unique Feature: At weeks end, after everyone has become quite familiar with his or her horse, it is finally time to put on your cowboy hat and help in a real cattle drive. The wranglers will explain all of this in detail and give tips to make the job go as planned.
